Graduate Master Remodeler (GMR)
Graduate Master Remodeler is a trademarked, exclusive professional designation which shows the graduate is qualified in business management skills. The GMR designation requires that the graduate meets prescribed standards of business practice, possess a minimum of 15 years remodeling industry experience, have a proven track record of successful project management, complete a comprehensive education curriculum, and pledge to uphold the program’s code of ethics. Both Tim and Jonathan are the only Graduate Master Remodelers in Northwest Arkansas.
The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)
The CAPS designation is given to a graduate of a special program which teaches the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to home modifications for the aging-in-place. Both Tim and Jonathan are Aging-In-Place Specialist Certified.
Graduate Master Builder
The ultimate symbol of the building professional, the Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation, is for experienced veterans only. Graduate Master Builders have completed advanced, in-depth instruction and have many years of experience in the building business. Tim was the first builder in Northwest Arkansas to obtain the Graduate Master Builder certification.
Residential Construction Superintendents (RCS)
Graduates of RCS complete a rigorous eight course curriculum that was established in 2001. It includes general project management, planning and scheduling, budget management and cost control, customer service and homeowner relations, safety and security, codes and quality control, hiring, training and supervision and office and subcontractor relations. Jonathan is a graduate Residential Construction Superintendent.
Certified Green Professional
Both Tim and Jonathan Janacek have earned the designation of Certified Green Professional (CGP). This accomplishment makes Janacek Construction fully certified in Green Remodeling as well as Green Building. This National Association of Home Builders’ designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who reduce environmental impact by incorporating green building principles into homes—without driving up the cost of construction. Both Tim and Jonathan now have a solid background in green building methods and are equipped to design structures which provide buyers with lower energy costs, lower maintenance, better indoor air quality and higher long-term value.
Additionally, Tim Janacek has joined a select group of certified window and door “InstallationMasters™” installers for new construction and remodeling projects. He attended an intensive training course conducted by InstallationMasters™ –accredited instructors during which the installers had to demonstrate competency by passing a written test designed to assess the knowledge they gained during the training course. Once they passed the test they became certified InstallationMasters™ installers.
American Society of Professional Estimators
Jason WInchester is certified as a Professional Estimator. Education, Ethics, Standards, Certification, Fellowship… these lead to the ultimate goal Professionalism. We think you’ll agree… If all estimators were more professional, budget and other problems of the construction industry would be greatly reduced.
EPA Lead Law Certified
This certifies that Janacek Construction is certified to conduct lead-based paint activities and renovations by the Environmental Protection Agency. Firms must be certified for lead-based paint activities to conduct, abatement, inspections and risk assessment.
National Association of the Remodeling Industry
NARI is an organization of high-quality remodeling professionals. Its members are committed to integrity, high standards, professional education, ethics and market recognition. NARI’s Core Purpose is to advance and promote the remodeling industry’s professionalism, product and vital public purpose.
Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association
Janacek Remodeling is a member of NWAHBA. Their Mission is to serve, preserve and promote members through educational opportunities, political advocacy and showcasing events.
